G325 for K-3

Hi all, this is my first post on this very helpful website. I'm waiting for the NOA1 for the I130 I filed for my wife and in the meantime am getting ready to prepare what's needed for the K-3 Visa. I'm completing the I129F, but does anyone know if I need original G325 forms or if copies will do. I sent the originals with the I130, but do have copies. Anyone have any experience with sending in copies.

Also, on the I129F instructions, does anyone know what they mean by submit documents for items 1,2, and 4, but you can omit 3. I'm not following this piece.

First compare K-3 to CR-1 visa, in most cases CR-1 is taking only a bit longer.

Lately many have been posting that USCIS has been dropping the I-129F in favor of the I-130 for CR-1.

CR-1 is the superior visa, it results in green-card, and NO adjustment of status. K-3 is not work auth, so cannot get SSN, JOB, or Driver's license until after they apply for and receive EAD and or Green-Card, EAD takes 90 days or more to get. AOS costs $1010 to do.

The last two people from CSC with whom I've spoken have indicated that all K-3 petitions received after 7/30/2007 are being "administratively closed" because "the CR1 cases are not taking as long anymore". However, since the I-129F is now free to submit for a K-3, you have nothing to lose but some time and postage.

Another reason may be to avoid adjustment of status filings from the K-3 visa holders, USCIS has enough on their plate.
