My hubby went to the first appt for his medicals on Saturday. He got chest xrays and his blood drawn. He was telling me that he had a major anxiety attack while on his way to the clinic because he is afraid of needles (what a baby!!!) :crying: They even had to do his chest xray twice cuz he was almost hyperventilating! Then when the nurse came in to take his blood she had to calm him down, and as he looked away the nurse, she says, "ok, all done" and he was like, "u did it already?". He said he didnt even feel anything! Then he said he laughed at himself the entire way home for being so paranoid about it. Now he' stressing the next appt, when he will have to get the immunizations!!! (doesnt like that he gets one in the booty...LOL) The funny thing is he'll be going into the medical field! But he says as long as needles/shots are going into other people...he's fine with it!!!!

p.s. good job ebonyqueen!! ;)

God Bless (L)

That's just weird. My husband went to the embassy to pick up the packet the same day as yours, he was also at kamorass on Saturday all day too for his first medical. These two have to have met by now! (I'm assuming your husband also went to kamorass) Thanks for stating that they get the immunizations next time, i wasn't sure what else they got other than the results from the first set of tests. I may keep that little bit of info to myself, my husband is a scaredy cat too! lol

Wow...that's crazy!!! I'll have to ask my honey if he met yours. He did tell me of a couple other guys he met. That would really be a trip if they did!

How wonderful! Can't imagine how I will be feeling when it's only a matter of days till I see my hubby!!!! I have these visions of the day I'm driving to the airport. It's a 3 hour drive, so I'm gonna be freaking out the entire way. Then to be waiting at the gait for him to walk out. OMG!! My heart gonna be pounding out my chest! And then there's wondering...Hmmmm, can we surrivie the entire drive home, or should we get hotel for the night!!!! (hehehehehe)

Or try this scenario Ose_n_me, I thought my hubby was lost in New York because he missed the connecting flight because NAA was delayed and did not take off when it was supposed to. They only put him up in the hotel for the early morning arrival then left him to fend for himself, how about me and his realtive in New York were horrified :o . But, the next day geting the call, "I AM AT THE AIRPORT". Should have saw me driving like a bat out of HELL :lol::lol:

I miss my fiance too

Only 4 months until I see him again...and then no more separation again...EVER

Me too Zee!

Actually, I'm really lucky because we've been together either in the US or Germany nearly every day for the last two months. Both our jobs have allowed this to happen, but he's leaving in a week and won't be back until the week before our wedding. I'm trying to focus on two things: how lucky we are to have found each other and to have been able to spend the time together that we have AND that soon it will be all over. Technically that was three things, but I teach English and Mass Comm, not math :)

Jundp,

I am interested to see how your interview goes! :) Is your fiance actually from Germany? Mine is from Cameroon, and I'm not sure what made us have AP and such a wait at the Frankfurt Embassy, but it looks like you guys have been together more and he's been the US already.. are you planning on going to the interview?

Good luck with everything!

BY POPULAR DEMAND (oh I mean "unpopular" ) Here is the place for all happy couples to come and hang out without any negative interruptions.

Rules of the thread:

1. No hating on anyone's relationship

2. No raining on anyones parade

3. No throwin salt in anyones game

4. No talking mess about people's SO, if you don't know them

5. No bad mouthing any one's nationality, culture, or place of birth

6. No disrespecting fellow members

7. No insulting or personal attacks

8. No drinking of HATORADE!

But please do:

1. Share positive experiences

2. Offer encouragement to others

3. Give respectful opinions and insight when asked

4. Ask for support and strength

5. IGNORE ALL POSTS FROM TROLLS, OR OTHERS POSING AS THE OBNOXIOUS CREATURES, AND/OR ALL OTHERS WHO DON'T HAVE A LIFE THUS HAVE TO MAKE EVERYONE ELSE AROUND THEM MISERABLE AS WELL, AND/OR THOSE WHO LIKE TO DERAIL POSTS WITH THEIR HIDDEN AGENDAS.

Looks like its time again for the "love train"

CHOO CHOO!

Still happy and in love!(L)
