BY POPULAR DEMAND (oh I mean "unpopular" ) Here is the place for all happy couples to come and hang out without any negative interruptions.

Rules of the thread:

1. No hating on anyone's relationship

2. No raining on anyones parade

3. No throwin salt in anyones game

4. No talking mess about people's SO, if you don't know them

5. No bad mouthing any one's nationality, culture, or place of birth

6. No disrespecting fellow members

7. No insulting or personal attacks

8. No drinking of HATORADE!

But please do:

1. Share positive experiences

2. Offer encouragement to others

3. Give respectful opinions and insight when asked

4. Ask for support and strength

5. IGNORE ALL POSTS FROM TROLLS, OR OTHERS POSING AS THE OBNOXIOUS CREATURES, AND/OR ALL OTHERS WHO DON'T HAVE A LIFE THUS HAVE TO MAKE EVERYONE ELSE AROUND THEM MISERABLE AS WELL, AND/OR THOSE WHO LIKE TO DERAIL POSTS WITH THEIR HIDDEN AGENDAS.

Let us stop this foolish, childish nonsense. Someone gotta be the bigger person and let this sh** go!

"Can't we all just get along"

So anyway....I'm missing my husband so much! His stupid internet connection is messing up again, and I really need to talk to my boo! :crying:

Oh Yeah......

Oh Eb, great post to start. I am sorry you are missing your boo and can't talk to him :crying: I hope the internet connection gets fixed soon. I miss my boo too ( rhyme) but can only call him with my calling card, he has no internet connection, so we talk briefly every few days. I cherish those days that we get to talk though, no matter how short the convo is :yes:(L)(F)(F)(L)

You people are nuts!!! Oops, I meant to say ya'll are great! :innocent:

Thanks for starting this thread. I remember the days of the "poor internet connections". Ugh, it gets so frustrating and sometimes they end up popping off and on IM several times. That would drive me crazy. The internet always seemed to act up when I had something important to discuss with him.

Have you tried Skype? It allows you to buy Skype credit and you can call you boo for a very reasonable rate. I call my hubby in the US for less than 5 cent a minute! Give it a try, let me know if you need help.

Hang in there everyone. I understand that the wait is hard. Just know that when your SO arrives it will be well worth the wait. Good things come to those who wait ....... remember hearing that when you were younger? Of course when I was in your shoes that was the last thing I wanted to hear. Now that he is here ...... it was so worth it. If I knew I would gain such a wonderful asset to my life, I would wait all over again.

Thanks for your post. I've been trying think about the positive of all this waiting and wondering if it would probably add value to our relationship. It's hard to imagine cause right now I'm just frustrated and tired. But I am committed. Some people walk away and that's never been an issue or an idea in my head. I know this man is God sent to be in my life. So, I'm just gonna keep waiting. :)

My hubby went to the first appt for his medicals on Saturday. He got chest xrays and his blood drawn. He was telling me that he had a major anxiety attack while on his way to the clinic because he is afraid of needles (what a baby!!!) :crying: They even had to do his chest xray twice cuz he was almost hyperventilating! Then when the nurse came in to take his blood she had to calm him down, and as he looked away the nurse, she says, "ok, all done" and he was like, "u did it already?". He said he didnt even feel anything! Then he said he laughed at himself the entire way home for being so paranoid about it. Now he' stressing the next appt, when he will have to get the immunizations!!! (doesnt like that he gets one in the booty...LOL) The funny thing is he'll be going into the medical field! But he says as long as needles/shots are going into other people...he's fine with it!!!!

p.s. good job ebonyqueen!! ;)

Isnt it amazing how a relationship will grow when it it nurtured...

For those of you who are still apart, soon you will be together, take this time to get your house ready for a new resident, I know I had to make closet space and I bought him his own dresser to put his things in. I just had way to much stuff to try to spilt mine. We have since moved and now have a bigger closet but...it is now FULL, and it is not just my stuff in there, he has his fair share of closet space  he is a lover of shoes...and so am I...I am sure you can imagine our delima LOL ;)

Oh! And I started looking for Afican Markets in my area... ;)

I can totally relate to the closet space. For me that was a major challenge, but somehow we managed to pull it through.

That was too cute! Men can be some of the biggest babies sometimes. When my SO gets a small tiny cut he makes such a big deal out of it.
