booking hotel room thru directrooms

Anyone here have tried booking a hotel room in Manila thru www.directrooms.com? I'd like to make a reservation but I'd like to pay in cash upon check-in. Is it possible or they accept only payments thru credit card?

I know a nice place in quezon city, 1399 php, double bed, book over phone or on line direct, no deposit in advance, pay cash is ok. I have been there three times. Do not just walk in there, u will be shoehorned into the upgrade room, not any better! Good food, its the Great Eastern Hotel.

my husband used direct rooms before and it was reliable but when you plan to pay in cash should be direct from the hotel or you can reserve online right on their own website

Every time i have been to the phils i never paid a deposit to book my room. In manila and also Davao. They took my reservation on my phone call to them each time. Once you arrive they then charge you and you can pay in cash. Deal with the hotel itself.

u can also call San carlos Mansion for reservation and pay with cash when u check-in. It's cheap for a huge area with 2 beds for a regular room. here's the phone no. 02-523-8119 to 10

Thank you everyone for the helpful suggestions. I found a suitable place to stay now. I dropped the option about booking a hotel room from directrooms and found a good place to stay who accepts cash upon check-in...
