So when you get a RFE do you need to get a letter saying the your evidences were received or alright? Because I sent back my RFE for proof of income of co-sponsor and tracked it, so I know immigrations has received it three weeks ago. So should I sit back and wait for the EAD or be concerned that we didn't get a letter saying they got it?

thanks any help would be awesome :help:

Don't think you're getting a letter, I agree with the post above that the online status will be updated to indicate they've received your documents. I had a similar RFE and the online status was updated shortly after they received it.

If you tracked it and know it arrived, may just have to wait.

But not always. Our RFE was delivered by tracked mail and we never got any notice from USCIS that they got it. We waited and waited and nothing. When we finally exceeded the 90 day wait for EAD, we made an Infopass appt to check on that and they confirmed that USCIS got our RFE days after we mailed it but they had nothing but shrugs and 'I dunnos' as to why there was never any web updates.

So no news does not necessarily mean bad news.

What do we want? We only paid $1000.

I just checked online about scheduling an Infopass and it says that their are four kinds and the only one about the EAD says you have to wait until 90 days of not hearing anything from them to schedule an infopass. Well, 90 days have not passed for me, but I get no updates or notices going on 3 weeks since I sent back my tracked rfe. ahh The uscis website makes it appear that infopasses are not an option until after the 90 day wait. fustrating

I've been wondering about the same thing... we sent our RFE two weeks ago and know that CSC received it because we also tracked it but there are no updates on our online status either so I'm kind of worried... not sure how much longer we should wait before calling them; we only have until early April for them to have our RFE...

When we send our RFE we did not get a letter the next thing from them was an interview letter. So dont expect a letter to show they recieved it, if the RFE you send is good I believe they proceed with your case
