Jinky had me gasping one time after she used liquid bleach to clean with.

For what it's worth, there are safer ways to effectively clean...

1. Baking Soda - Cleans and deodorizes. Softens water to increase sudsing and cleaning power of soap. Good scouring powder.

2. Borax - Cleans and deodorizes. Excellent disinfectant. Softens water. Available in laundry section of grocery store.

3. Soap - Biodegrades safely and completely and is non-toxic. Available in grocery stores and health food stores. Sold as liquid, flakes, powder or in bars. Bars can be grated to dissolve more easily in hot water. Insist on soap without synthetic scents, colors or other additives.

4. Washing Soda - Cuts grease and removes stains. Disinfects. Softens water. Available in laundry section of grocery store or in pure form from chemical supply houses as "sodium carbonate."

5. White Vinegar or Lemon Juice - Cuts grease and freshens.

Gary's news had us all really worried. You know, we all feel like we know you so well. Gary always told us what a wonderful woman you are, and when you started posting, it became pretty clear he was right. You're one of those rare good souls - it's not just VJ that wouldn't be the same without you. It'd be the whole world.

So here's my suggestion to you so that this never happens again. #1 - Get your hair done at a salon. You deserve it. #2. Get a cleaning lady. Pine-Sol is for washerwomen. :P

You're special! Stay just the way you are - and we love ya bunches!

Soooo glad you're ok Luz!!! I'm late in this thread but I am super happy nothing's wrong with you. As rebeccajo said...get your butt to the salon next time and no more nasty floor detergents or even better... a cleaning lady!

11th august 2007 - Delivery Confirmation receipt received

17th september 2007 - Money Order (FINALLY!) cashed

9th november 2007 - NOA! (notification period given 180 days)

21th november 2007 - Biometrics appointment letter

18th december 2007 - Biometrics appointment in Baltimore, MD completed

29th march 2008 - FINALLY received letter with interview date!

8th may 2008 H 8:40 AM - Interview in Baltimore-APPROVED!

8th may 2008 H 3:00 pm (yes same day, crazy!) Oath Ceremony in Baltimore

24th may 2008 - US Passport application mailed off

6th june 2008 - US Passport received in the mail!!!

Awww thank you Queen Becca :luv: ,,I didn't mean to worry Gary and Robin and all of you here..sometimes my ignorant really put me in position to suffer :blush: ..as a beautician myself and work in a beauty parlor back home I'm used to dye my hair and been using the pine sol since I got here BUT I never used them at the same time together.. :blink:I am paying the price of being careless with the danger of homecleaning chemicals... :crying: I guess I cannot do multitasking really.. :D

:luv: Thank you Mags..I'm back and well and taking my sweet time to rest..being ''beat up'' to revive me due to 3 hours of unconscious is no joke..imagine Gary and Robin's hands and strength? I think I am about to be alive but I get unconscious again because they beat the hell out of me!! :D:P Robin said that he pour cold water and bite my fingers and bend my toes so I can feel it to be in conscious !!! Gary slap my face and paunching my chest!! :lol: Plus those people in the trauma room!!! :crying:... Im just a 'lil girl.. :D

Seriously I am overwhelmed with ALL the love and concerns that you all sending our ways..it make me feel better but it does more with my hubby.. :luv:

BTW...Gary gives me a budget every 2 weeks for my girly things..I'd spent it in shopping mall and sometimes when I want to surprise him I buy him something..:blush:

Just saw this! Glad you're okay, Luz! That must have been scary as anything. Be careful with any chemicals! Most cleansers can't be mixed (though I never would have guessed hair dye.) No more becoming our own VJ [House/i] episode.

Take it easy and give Gary and Robin a big hug.
