I hope she gets to come home tonight! Being in the hospital is not fun.

The network idea is a good one. I have addresses of some people on VJ but not really phone #'s. Well the numbers I do have are for members that are not as active on VJ these days. I think I'll give Scott&Lai our number just incase I ever disappear. :P

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Oh thank god.

I'm so freaking relieved..........I feel almost like bawling......

That's exactly how I feel! I just let out a big sigh and a weight lifted off my shoulders. Thanks for the update, Gary. Give Luz our love, and a big hug for Robin, too. I'm sure he was very worried.

I started a post for the "VJ Friends Where The F#%$ Are You?" Network here:

I think maybe we should also post them somewhere in our profiles.... don't know where, though.

Or just sticky that thread, maybe.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Well, sort of easy to do, when there are 5 pages of "Hope she's okay". I did not notice anyone actually addressed the concern! Just trying to help!

I would definitely read the contents of the hair dye and Pine-Sol. You very well could have produced a nerve gas of sorts like when bleach and ammonia are combined.

Well, since everyone has (once again) entirely skipped over or brushed aside whatever I post, I suppose I should redirect you all to my earlier entry in this same thread which addresses this very same issue: CLICK HERE

I guess rebeccajo can ignore that PM I sent with the results of my internet search for Gary's phone number. lol

Glad to hear everything is OK, Gary. We were all getting worried!

(We need some kind of "friend-network" here on VJ... pick one or two people that you trust, and give them your contact info so they can check on you in situations like this and let everyone else know, too. I've had too many internet friends just "disappear" with no word heard ever again by anyone.)

You know, that is an excellent idea, Larry. One of our really great Canadian members just disappeared from the face of the earth after she moved here. She hasn't been online since early November, and she doesn't respond to her emails. I really really wish I'd asked for her number, because I feel sick every day that something may have happened to her, or that she needs a friend and doesn't know she has one. :(

I really don't think this is an issue in which you should take offense. People are worried, people as a rule post duplicate info anyway, without the added fact that they are all worried sick about the person who is ill.

;)

I'm not taking offense so much as I wrote down information that could conceivable be useful and it was completely bypassed. If what I wrote was something like "how to wire your stereo" it wouldn't be that important, but this is regarding the health of another human being.

Anyway... I'm not about to start an argument in this thread. I merely wanted to make sure what I wrote was seen, since I felt it might have some bearing on Luz's condition. That's all.

But Luz is in the hospital, being cared for by excellent doctors. What we type here has, almost certainly, been thought of by the people who matter to her recovery. :D

Now for a little ditty:

We love you LuzyC,

For you are so dainty,

You make us laugh all time,

So don't go doing the fainty! (again)

Thank God! I hope Luz can come home today.

Mags, Cute ditty, BTW.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
