Luz is in the hospital

About 1PM today Luz came upstairs and told me she was feeling dizzy. I helped her to the couch where she promptly passed out. I could not wake her no matter how hard I tried. A few times it seemed like she stopped breathing. After trying for about 10 minutes to wake her I decided she needed to go to the hospital. I packed her up in the car and raced to the closest hospital. They took her from the car and went straight to the trauma center. They would not allow me to be with her while they worked on her. After an hour they got her stabilized and allowed me to see her. She was still incoherent and barely awake. After another hour and a half she was coming around a little and they wanted to take an x-ray. When they stood her up she passed out again! At that point they decided to admit her. They have done every test you can think of. Blood gas, urine and blood work, cat scan, you name it. The only thing we can think of is maybe it's a bad reaction to the pine-sol she was using to clean. But if that was the case she should have come around sooner. We still do not know. I just got home to eat a quick bite, make sure Robin is OK and get Luz a few things. I will probably spend the night if they let me. Otherwise I will be back about 10:30 PM tonight. I will let you know what we find out. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Oh my goodness. They'd better be watching her close, what in the world :(

I'm sorry Gary. I hope it's all figured out soon and just something crazy like low blood sugar or something, oi. Thinking about you. Hang in there.

Hope she is OK and you too. That is very strange and scary.

Gary, Tell Luz I am praying for her.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Our prayers are with your family. My mother had a similar reaction (maybe not as severe) when she was diagnosed with diabetes.
