I tried exercising with a video once. Just not interesting. Its like a treadmill or stationary cycle. Boring! I need moving scenery. Probably why I only go for long runs in the countryside whenever possible.

What do you do in below zero weather or when there's a few feet of snow on the ground?

Anyways I just resurrected my old vcr and put in my Walk Away the Pounds tape and omg I"m soooo out of shape!! I think I'll stick with that one for a while until I get a little better at it.

I just got some. I got an instructional belly dancing video (not really a workout tape, but it's a workout), Rodney Yee's ultimate yoga, which I haven't tried yet but which is supposed to be awesome, and the Bollywood workout, which was kind of lame but actually made me sweat despite not looking like it would.

I've never used a workout video so I'd be interested in some suggestions too! Never really thought they would be for me because I get bored really easily!

Well, obviously, if it's insane outside I stay in and hold off for a few days. The roads get cleared in a day or two. Temperature is not a problem. You dress for it. Dress in layers with appropriate garments. You may be cold for a km or so, but you warm up quick enough.

Billy Blanks Tae Bo, it's great!

I agree! I have sweat pouring off of me at the end. He really works you hard but the exercises are simple.

I get bored easily too. I had to look at a couple of dvds until I found Tae Bo.

I have a Denise Austin called Burn Fat Fast it's got cardio and strength training on it. It's ok I like it, not too hard. It's got a warm-up and cool-down and you can combine the workouts anyway you'd like. Sometimes I go to my sister's and we workout together to this DVD called Slim in Six...but I really don't care for it much. We've been looking into getting those Zumba workout DVDs. Anyone have any experience with Zumba? When I win the lottery, I'm building a house with a swimming pool in it!

I bought Core Rhythms a while back but I fell and hurt my knee so I had to put it on hold. A couple of nights ago I thought I'd try it out. It's a lot of fun but I can't report any results yet as I just started.
