See what they told me at the packet they sent me this week.

NOTICE TO VISA APPLICATIONS

Visa Interview Rquirements

Ali Ghallab must bring the following to the visa interview:

1-any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not subbmitted to the NVC.

2-The medical examination results if not submitted to the Embassy/Consulate by the physician.

3-the correct size and number of photographs.

4-Valid passport for all travelling applicants.

The fllowing table lists the documents requsted by the NVC and whether or not the NVC received them.Please note that even though the applicant may have provided the NVC with a copy of a document,the applicant is still required to bring the original document to the visa interview.

Please note that even though the applicant may have provided the NVC with a copy of a document,the applicant is still required to bring the original document to the visa interview.

For the line above, the way I read it is that if you sent a 'copy' of something to the NVC you need to bring the original with you, for instance your passport, where you would have sent a copy of the biographic page.

My understanding is that they will return the originals you sent to NVC to you at the interview.

To be safe I would bring everything with you. I got asked at my interview for forms that they already had in their possession.

To be safe I would bring everything with you. I got asked at my interview for forms that they already had in their possession.

It does make sense to bring a copy of the forms, the I-864, DS-230 - however did you bring an additional original of your Birth certificate and Marriage Certificate?

Also, as a K1 you weren't required to send those originals to NVC?

Yes i sent all original documents to the NVC , iam going through CR1 so, they needed those document at NVC.

I think i don't have to bring them with me to the Interview cuz those documents/complete/reviewed.
