My wife has her 10 year green card and she will be able to file for citizenship later this year. Where can I go to find what infornation I will need to bring her family members here? She would like to petition her son (29) and brother. I know it is quite a waiting period but I figure the sooner we file the better. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your wife can start with this. Once she becomes a USC she can opt to update the application if it will bring her son and/or brother closer to the front of the "immigrant visa number" line.

She will be filing I-130s for son and brother.

If son is unmarried, he will be F-1 preference. If married then F-3 pref. If son is un-married she can file for F-2b pref as LPR NOW and then get it upped to F-1 after naturalizes.

Brother will be F-4 pref.

In any case this will take YEARS to get a visa number, only parents and spouses of US Citizen get un-limited preference.

Currently processing:

F-1 from Feb 02 (6 Years)

F-2b from Feb 99 (9 Years)

F-4 from Dec 96 (12 years)
