Am I obliged to make an infopass appointment to get my passport stamped with another extension to my greencard? I am planning on travelling but not until May (fingers crossed my 10 yr is here by then). This is such #######!

If you are eligable for citizenship and that is what you want, what you should do, is send the N-400, which will push adjudication of the I-751 if it already hasn't been adjudicated.

These is unbelievable, you guys never going to give up with this N-400 quick fix for I-759 application

When will you realize that this isn't a quick fix? It is just the next thing in line of this process.

It isn't a quick fix, but it will spur a lagging application. Of course, the alternative quick fix is to leave things as they are and just practice patience. :)

right, but I'm not going to send in the N-400 for the express purpose of moving my I-751 along. ;)

Ok then maybe you can tell me what are you going to do after you file the N-400 application to speed up the I-751 processing ????? As far as I know there are no more applications to file after that so .....what are you going to do ?????

I think I'm just wasting time here trying to make some of you understand that is not OK to put up with this job done by USCIS and that's the end of it !!!

It seems to me that you assume no one understands a thing on here and that you and a select few on here are the only one going through this long process. I wouldn't want to know how many applications for various petitions they have to process at all the various service centres. Not only that, but you can't MAKE anyone do or think anything. No, it's not ok for things to lag like they do with the USCIS...I don't think you'll find anyone that would disagree with you on that. The thing I don't get (and I assure you I haven't lost sleep over it) is why some people forget what they DO have already....a life with their beloved SO, green card in hand and an extension on that green card if needed. You're here...you're together after who knows how long of a wait...you're on the last stages of this immigration journey. You know what you can do to extend things until ROC is complete. I know how frustrating it is to watch others fly past you while you wait...and wait...and wait. We've been there too! This constant barrage of angry posts won't help your situation nor anyone else's.

I'm glad that you feel the same about N-400 ,a total waist of money at least for the moment when you are not quite ready to become a US Citizen

Many people don't understand the fact that jumping with another application like N-400 and dumping $700 will just extend this agony and that there is no other application to file after to have this N-400 processed
