HI EVERYONE....I posted the following yesterday! I did get one reply, but still remained totally confused....thought I would re-post (Thanks a MILLION!!):

HI All! Okay, I am totally confused AGAIN.....Imagine that....dealing with the USCIS and I am lost??

I have a couple questions, hope someone can shed some light:

1. Now that we have the info on the NOA 1 (still no actual paper receipt), the agent with USCIS stated we should include his Moroccan police record with the I-129F. Is this true?

Next,

2. I updated our timeline and it gave me the following estimate regarding the I-130 and the I-129F. Now the question, which forms adjudicated date is the one we use as a ball park time, for him to be here? The June 8, for the I-130, or the Sept. 20, for the I-129F?

"Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated as early as September 20, 2008*.

If this date has passed by more than 10 days or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated as early as June 8, 2008*.

If this date has passed by more than 10 days or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline. "

Again.....THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND KNOWLEDGE!!!

1) you do not submit police reports with the I129F. Save that for the interview. If you really want to.. go ahead but there's no need for that.

2) When you are looking at your timeline on VJ keep in mind that it is based on what others put in their timelines. If their information was put in inaccurately, it will give you an incorrect estimate. Don't base your case on that. Get to know others who have filed around the same time as you, that will give you the best ball park idea. Keep checking the timelines posted by USCIS too. That's all they care about, they don't care about what people you know have gone through, even wonderful VJ people :P

Also, the current belief is that they base the time it takes to get your case on the desk for adjudication is your I129F date NOT your I130 date. Having your I129F does not mean that is when your spouse will be here.. i'm not sure if you were trying to say that. Having your I129F approved is the end of chapter one. It then will go to the NVC to be rerouted to the embassy. Then the embassy will contact your spouse with information and schedule an interview. You would want to talk to people who are married to others in the country your spouse is from to get an estimate on how long it takes to get an interview in that embassy with a K3. Then, assuming the interview has a favorable result, your spouse can come home to you.

If I am to make a rough guess, it takes about a year from start to finish (and I am basing it off when you sent in your I130) give or take two months or so.

The interviews currently being scheduled (IN GENERAL) show an 11 month period from filing the I130 to interview date. Since that time there have been major back ups in the USCIS so no one knows just yet how long it will take when yours gets around to adjudication.

I hope that clears things up a little better for you. It may seem like forever, but it will come to an end. Hang in there and good luck on your journey.
