Poll shows Obama taking lead in Texas 48%-42% with 7% still undecided

Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama among self-described Democrats 47% to 42%. Obama leads Clinton among self-described independents and Republicans 24% to 71%. Obama leads among men 55% to 29% (47% of likely Democratic primary voters) and Clinton leads among women 54% to 42%. Clinton leads Obama among white voters 51% to 40% (53% of likely Democratic primary voters), Obama leads Clinton among African American voters 76% to 17% (22% of likely Democratic primary voters), and Clinton leads Obama among Latino voters 44% to 42%.

Hillarys been done, and people are starting to feel it. Its ok people...just let it go, it ok. She onluy went for the latino vote anyway in Texas instead of the entire STATE of Texas. She didnt want to win if thats how she was thinking.

I don't think they lost NH for cockiness, cause that man rallys non-stop in states you woul dnever think of him to. I think NH is a state that would definitely lean to Hillary no matter what....as they did I guess.

METHODOLOGY

On behalf of the Texas Credit Union League, Public Opinion Strategies and Hamilton Campaigns conducted two Texas statewide surveys. One survey was conducted among 400 Republican primary voters and the other among 400 Democratic primary voters. These surveys were conducted February 11-13, 2008 and each has a margin of error of + 4.9%.

There's a difference between confidence and cockiness. Without confidence, one can come across as desperate and that can kill too. Obama has faced adversity every step of the way and has shown great confidence - it's one of the reasons why I think he'll make a good leader.
