Second hand experience on "Stoke" interview during our AOS Interview in March 2006.

One question we overheard the Immigration Officer asked the wife in her office while the husband was sitting in the lobby: (Kim and I were sitting and waiting for our interview right outside of this I.O.)

"You guys go shopping together?" - answered

"Where do you shop?" - answered

"For foods, where do you shop?" - answered

"What does he do while you two are out shopping for foods?" - answered

The wife answered and described her husband pushes the shopping cart for her while she picks out the can foods.

"Where do you park your car at night?"

"How tall is your husband?"

and then we were called in for our interview :) didn't know how that couple turned out... but they were drilling them pretty hard, at least 45 mins and still going when Kim and I left our 5 mins AOS interview after that... Key note: the husband was separated from the wife, sitting way way way outside of the lobby and guarded by a Security Guard of the Immigration Office.

So, good luck and make sure you know as much as you can about the home you two live together, places you go and do your daily routine activities... just for fun: where is your bedroom switch light, on the right or left when you walk in the bedroom??? :) What color of your husband/wife's eyes? the questions are plenty and only one shot and one right answer for each...

Prepare for WAR!!!!

Love,

Chuck and Kim

nooooooooooooooo U R STALKING ME !!

Right now the best evidence is yourselves...

Do a google search of Stokes Interview to get a better idea... But remember a few things... If you don't know the answer it's okay to say I don't know or I don't recall. They don't expect you to remember or know everything.

Get familiar with the details of your spouses family. Know her parents names and birthdates and where they live and the last time that you saw them together. Know who your spouses siblings are, where they live, and the last time you saw them... It isn't so important to know the exact date, but you should at least know the month and about where in the month. They're going to ask you lots of detailed questions... If you are a true couple, you should know the answers to most of them...

Most of the other answers you just have to know.. they'll be details about your home and your spouse's routine... Stuff like what toothpaste does he use, does he brush his teeth in the morning, evening or both. Does he use mouthwash, what brand, is there a lock on the bathroom door, tell me if I was walked in the front door, the way to get to your bed, what side of the bed do you sleep on, describe your kitchen for me..

You get the idea...

The important things is not to feel nervous.. you should go in feeling confident... The attitude should be "I can't believe these A-holes doubt we're real.. well we'll show them... " If you're attitude is "Oh my God, what do we do", you've already lost...

:o:o:o about sex???????????

If that came up as a question in an immigration interview, I would tell them "none of your business". There's lines that cannot be crossed, even by an interviewing officer...that is just demeaning and rude!!

well, they just want to make sure you really married to your husband/wife :) Sex? No way... we only MAKE LOVE... then... hell yeah... we can tell them how many times, how places, when was the last time... etc. but can't tell them specific acts :)

Nah, you don't need to tell them off... :) just tell them enough

:help::unsure::crying: This makes me gulp!!! All I can say is good luck and I am rooting for you and your husband, I think it totally stinks how we are all being treated. It's a big power game with the INS.

I am hoping we do not get called back in after our interview experience on Tues. I felt like Anton was being interogated rather than interviewed.

Making a good wish for things to go your way and that all will go well,

Where is your source for this information? I don't think questions about sex constitute harrassment unless they ask you to have sex with them. I know these questions are asked at the consulates. I would suspect these folks have the power to ask just about anything they want. I also suspect the supervisor is going to support his/ her employee as soon as the employee tells them they suspect fraud. I think sexual harrassment is more designed for the workplace, not the Department of Homeland Security.

As long as they don't ask you to present photos/video of you two having sex... questioning about your patern, frequency, location, method to cross reference with your partner's answers are all fair game. Think of it this way, it's an excuse to have more sex (what there to complain) and memorize everything about your love making sessions :)

Have fun and maybe... you need to have some some some with the hubby to release some of this stress :)

Love,

chuck and kim :)

It is entirely within bounds. Actually they can ask anything they want, one of the requirement in the INA is that for the marriage to be valid it has to be consummated. So questions regarding that is germane to their investigation... It's not demeaning... they're trying to determine the validity of the marriage... individuals who claim they are married, but are not having sex, is a pretty good indication that the marrige is not valid.
