To make a long story short, my husband is here on a K3. Our I130 has been stuck in name check (from 2005). We had our AOS interview in July 2007 and was told since our I130 still in name check, he couldnt approve the I485 (we had to wait till we got the I130 approval) and then we would have been done with process!

Yesterday, we had to go for an interview for the I130. We both were interviewed separately ( they even videotaped our interview) and we were told that she would review the videotape and go over the supporting evidence and mail us the decision.

Has this ever happened to anyone? it seems like we are going backwards in this process. I also noticed that from our original I130 receipt that they changed our receipt number ( it used to start with WAC now it starts LIN with different numbers).

So if we are approved, what happens next? do we file another AOS?..we recieve the welcome letter? or worse what if we are denied. :help:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
