fraud investigation

HI GUYS

we have applied from about year and they gave us a case no. ,told us to prepare the documents

afterwards they said that they sent it back for fraud investigation.............

what does it mean? how long will it take ?

I'm afraid you don't provide enough information to get a helpful answer.

I asume you applied for DCF, but you don't mention when and where? and what was the issue that made them investigate or put you in AP?

If you could give more details, folks will be more able to give you a hand!

we have applied in Cairo about one year and then we moved to Riyadh after 3 months from applying so we asked for transfering the case ,and after 5 months they said that they are investgating for fraud

hope anybody can help about knowing what thye mean from this

Again, you don't give much details - perhaps because you don't have them. What was the basis for suspicion of fraud? Did you submit enough documentation proving bona fide marriage? Joint assets? Enough income or a joint sponsor? Does your significant other have a criminal record? Being investigated for fraud can mean one of many, many things. Perhaps you could contact the consulate and ask for specific information. did you ever received an RFE?
