You know you're a VJ addict if :

When explaining the visa process to family members and friends, You use the terms RFE, AOS, NOA1, NOA1...

When your subordinate at work sends you an incomplete report/power point presentation for next week's meeting, you send them an e-mail with the subject "RFE Notice".

When you get up in the middle of the night to go pee, you have to stop and check VJ to see if there are any new posts.

Acute VJ addiction - Add - You also stop by USCIS.GOV to check your case status online.

Chronic VJ addiction - Add - You do all of the above, plus you start a new topic about the site not working.

You use the word chopf*#k at least 10 times on a daily basis, and cannot possibly explain to others how you learned that word.

If you're unemployed, you apply to work at an immigration law office and list Aussiewench as a reference.

You get so excited about your new heart, that you have to start a thread about it.

You've learned more on VJ about Geography of the world than you did in high school/college.

You know the specific details of the U.S. Consulate in your fiancé/husband/wife's home country, all the way down to the design of the carpet, and you've never step foot there.

You are on VJ more than the time you spend talking to your SO.

You check your anticipated NOA2 date on your timeline, every day. You record any daily changes. Then you do a massive man-hunt to find other VJ members with the same NOA1 date.

If someone in your family has done drugs or has done something illegal/bad and they want to borrow money from you... You make them sign an IOU, along with a I-212 waiver.

Ok this is all that I think of right now

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Well.. I guess for me I spend more time on VJ than talking to Yacine... because he is so far away, and the phone cards to Algeria only last around 45 minutes for $5... so...

you are right thinking

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
