I recently returned from Cebu Visiting my Fiancee. According to similar timelines, my case MNL200581xxxx, gets closer and closer. I assume that I get a letter that the Embassy has recieved my paperwork. I am I right about this? Thank you in advance.

My number is mnl 2005 785 xxx I found out my interview and medical date by calling the dept. of state. She still hasn't received the packet, although I found out when it left. Perhaps give a call 202-663-1225. Don't call Manila, they don't know anything. I called the embassy a few days after the packet left and they weren't even aware of that. Another good thing is that Dept. of state doesn't cost $18!

Try the extension 5184 or 5185. I would have the best luck getting through if I called at about 8:00am Manila time.

You don't get a letter when they receive your paperwork. Nothing is sent until the medical/interview packet is sent out approx. 1 month prior to the interview
