I get home late last night and there were cards and chocolate at the front door with about four dozen red balloons from the living room to the bedroom. It was very sweet! She’s an angel…

Since we met, my husband sings to me the "You are my sunshine" song. A couple of months ago I found a cross-stitch pattern with that song on it and I made it for him -- one that isn't too frou-frou or girly. One of my co-workers helped me frame it (I work at a needlework shop). He absolutely loved it, because it's the first thing I had made for him and because the song means a lot to us. :)

He got me an Ipod Nano, and an external hard drive to go along with it, which was a complete surprise -- it came today (it's so small! so cool!) and he had it engraved on the back with a message. He's an awesome hubby, presents or not. :luv:

Today is our JOP wedding anniversary as well, so hubby had to do double duty .. LOL. He came by my office today and brought cards for both anniversary and V Day, as well as chocolate for me and the front office staff. When I got home, he had roses waiting and .... THE BEST THING because it was just so sweet and something my husband would do ... he had bought a red sheet from the dollar store and painted "I LOVE YOU" in white letters. He hung that in our carport for me to see as soon as I pulled in.

For him, chocolate (so he wouldn't eat mine :) ), a lobster dinner and a gift card to Cracker Barrel (the man is OBSESSED with that restaurant for some reason!).

I made him a scrapbook. All of the pages contain things I love about him. He LOVED it!!

He gave me a beautiful handkerchief and a CD that has one of my favorite songs on it. He also sacrificed school so that he could meet me on IM. AND woke up in the middle of the night to talk to me when I got home from work.

Ahhhhh

Mel left a few little things around the house for me to find- some cards and chocolates and things.

We had a bottle of champagne when he got home from work and he found the gifts I had gotten for him. I got a flower and chocolate delivery late in the day. We went to an Indian restaurant for dinner- great food!!

We came home to watch Lost and he fell asleep during it.

I took him to see Eddie Izzard, who he loves. It was a surprise, so he thought I was dragging him to some *boring* cultural thing, but then it turned out to be an Eddie Izzard show, and I got lots of awesome points. Then I got more when he found out how good our seats were. Yay.

*this was for our anniversary, also yesterday, and a little less-so for V-day.
