one quick question. Do you have to do the ceremony or can you just do the marriage license?

A marriage licience is the way to record that you have been married. You get it from a state office and then take it to an approved offical who marries you. It can be in a church or at a judges office. They can say as few words or as many as everyone agrees on. The big thing is that the official signs the form and it gets back to the issuing office to be recorded. Without getting recorded you aren't married. As for the governement when they say you have 90 days to get married it means that the licience has to be signed in 90 days not that you went and got one.

Hey everyone! I saw all your posts and thanks a lot for them!!! It's very nice!! I came back to Ukraine in June - the day of my departure was the worst in my life! But I made this step. It's still very difficult, becaus my ex still wants to have me back. He either doesn't understand that we are done or ddoesn't want to or jusr wants to keep me just in case... So far I am trying to work a lot not to think aabout that at all. So now I am doing fine and go on with my life. Thanks to everyone for help!!!

I wish happiness to everyone!!! God bless you all!
