In Shock Right Now

Hey guys,

After waiting about 5 months for a receipt alone from August to December, I can't believe this just happened... I've been APPROVED!!! Being bored and frustrated, I decided to try entering my receipt number into the USCIS website and not only did it work this time, but I just found out that they approved us on February 8th. I can't believe this and I'm in serious shock right. After these people told me it could take 9-10 months because of the delay, I've been approved. Now its time to move on to the next step, which I'm sure I'll have questions on. For everybody still waiting, just hang tough. God works in mysterious ways. He gave us something so wonderful without even expecting it on this Valentine's Day.

In case you're wondering, start calling the NVC number immediately and get your case number. Our case reached NVC 2 days after our approval so it is probably in the NVC system by now.

Well your actually done with USCIS...its on to NVC. I think they are a little better to be in the ring with. people have been getting out of NVC within 3-4 months on average.

3-4 months sounds great to me at this point.

Why when I call the NVC with my new NVC case number, it says allow "6-8 weeks for the beneficiary...." What does this mean? I want to know when I can send in the AOS Bill and the choice of agent form.
