HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!!!

You are all blessed. Today is my 1 yr wedding anniversary and it is horrible. My husband has not even wished me a "happy anniversary". My son asked him why he won't say that to me, and husband said if my son has no "reasonable questions" to ask then he should not ask him anything. I am hoping next year will be alot better.

Trust me, in some strange way...this will make me a stronger person.

well hubby walked through the door with a wonderful card, sparkling wine and beautiful red roses!! Now he's gone to get mexican takeout for dinner, i got him a card, planning on getting his gift on our weekend away.

We exchanged cards...his was soooo sweet...mine hasn't gotten there yet (damn the USPS!!!), but I hope he likes it...our big celebrating comes at the end of next month; I'm going to England to visit and meet the future in-laws!!!

I went by the party store to pick up some supplies today for a brunch I'm doing on Saturday and I saw this hilarious plastic trophy so I got it for Neil. It's so tacky but I knew he'll think it's funny. Still can't decide which sticker to put on it...I'm thinking I will use world's best wife or hottie award

I sent hubby a couple of Valentine ecards...

when he got home from work he picked me up to take me to my doc appointment and he said he wanted to take me out to dinner... he said he wanted to take me to our favourite Chinese Buffet place but we didn't have enough money for that so I told him he could take me to In & Out.... he felt bad that he couldn't do anything better for me for Valentine's day....

I sent him a potted money tree for his desk at work. He has no window and that bums him out.

ok, well the tree arrived at his office yesterday, but it was missing its pot! I called today, and they are sending out a whole new tree plus pot 2 trees for the price of one (now I can have one for my desk at home)

Hubby sent me flowers with teddy bear to my office. He sent me a package with lots of goodies last week so that it can reach on time.

My birthday is today (17th) and when he woke me up this morning, he sang the Happy Birthday song.

I hope next year, we can celebrate Valentines and my birthday together and not apart!

We don't buy too much into it...but there was a couples cooking class called "romantic rendezvous." We went to that and it was fun!!!
