I wish..opps..wrong..LOL..I mean..I didn't brush my teeth yet but he kissed me.. :lol: I was still in bed..Yucky,,lol

well i had an interesting idea of what him "brushing your teeth" meant............ :innocent:

My hubby got me a pretty chocolate box. Even though I'm on a diet, I really liked it. And I know he wants more meat on my buns, so he doesn't mind if I put on some extra yummyness :P

Hubby caught a bad case of the flu 3 days ago and last night the flu developed into a hacking cough that kept him, me and the dog awake half the night. LOL.

He gave me very little sleep, so this morning I gave him a little back rub to tell him I love him before we left for work. :)

I gave my wife a few small gifts - a heart-shaped picture frame, a small teddy bear, a small box of chocolates, and a nice card.

She cried when she read what I wrote in the card, the tears running down her face. :)

I sent Govi a little plush Dobie with a heart that says 'I Love You', a box of chocolates with a pirate parrot on the front(from his Pattu(parrot) Rani) ;) , some Dove milk chocolate hearts and a couple of cards, one mushy one for him and a musical card for his family that plays'Don't Worry, Be Happy' which will remind him of the Be Happy restaurant in Pokhara where we ate one of our first dinners together. :wub:

He didn't send me anything but I am not too upset - it really isn't in his culture and he is just plain strapped for cash. He did try to call me on my cell phone this morning but I was at the front desk and my phone was in the back office... :cry: He then was on YIM with me for about 2 seconds before (I think) the power went out, almost a daily occurance in KTM these days..... :(

Not the best V-Day but ke garne, what to do...

Hopefully next year will be better since we will(presumably) be together.

I booked a couple's massage session for the two of us this saturday! I got a gift card for it, and gave him a box of chocolates, a card, and the massage gift card inside. It's going to be great!

we are also going to dinner tonight :thumbs:

But he definetly one-upped me...he got me a beautiful ring, completing my bridal set. it's wonderful and I love it!!!!!! :wub:

I'm still trying to train my fiance to give me stuff like flowers and chocolate and like...christmas presents through the mail on time or at least not two months late, etc :(

Any advice? :cry:

Didn't get him nothing - we're saving money and the shipping's so expensive, plus don't really care about this holiday anyway. But I'm not so much as sending him an E-CARD ever again until he buys me so damn flowers grrrr! >_<

Joe took a paid day off work today so we could just spend it together. We exchanged cards at breakfast - and I had picked up some of those candy hearts with sayings on them for him (plus some valentine shaped cookies for nibbling on) and he gave me a heart shaped box of Russell Stover chocolates. We went out to Barnes & Noble for some coffee and did some errands together. Now we are just vegging out and enjoying spending time together:-). Happy Valentine's Day, everyone.

Both of us travel so much with our work that we are grateful for all the time we can get together. He is on his way back from a business trip now and we will be going out to the restaurant we had our first dinner together (its actually a pub and nothing special but it brings back fond memories). Tonight we will watch The Apprentice, and then later......... :devil::devil::devil: , woohoo !

He bought me a beautiful mirror (he had it designed and made especially) and I am taking him out tomorrow night to a fabulous restaurant that he will love, and we will get drunk and then :devil::devil::devil:
