I have 2 feet of water in my basement today. Went home last night and got the stuff to make the stuffed peppers that I posted a while back but news flash....it wasn't the jalepeno's that were hot it was the polermo peppers!!!! Had to sleep with two ice packs one on my hand and the other on my mouth because they burned so bad. That was after spending an hour outside rerouting my subpump hose that was for some reason pouring water right back into the basement.

I hate owning a house. Anyone know how much it is to get a french drain built around the perimiter of an average sized home? I'm told those will do the trick. I've tried everything...new gutters, new windows and NOTHING is working...EVERY year I get a huge flood, though normally it's in april, not february.

here ya go doodle.

the one i used here at home to help channel water away from the house is the AKWADRAIN Strip Drain. it acts like a sponge and sucks water away from the house and down a modified french drain i made.

Attention: VJ alert

I have found myself today needing serious intervention. This may take more than one of you and it needs to be within the next 4 days. So to those that said 'If you ever need anything, ask' well, I'm asking. I was/am about to make one of the LARGEST mistakes of my life. Without sounding TOO dramatic, help save me from me.

Ok, back to V-Day celebrating (L)

I just ate a hot pastrami sammich and it's sitting like a big ball in my stomach. Where's that pukey smiley??? It was a lean one with steamed pastrami too so it wasn't even satisfying my craving for salty grease. :crying:

i had a couple of those today :D

I didn't know there was such a thing as lean pastrami, LOL.

It was just AWEFUL!!! No grease going down the side of my face or any of the stuff I was thinkin' of. I'll have to make it up tonight. Totally forgot it was Valentine's day until hubby called me. I'll have to pick up a nice chocolate cake for the girls along with a good greasy pizza.

Rootbeer for breakfast would be good with french vanilla ice cream in it. I like eating the ice cream once it gets all icey from the rootbeer.

I would think lemon juice would be more affective.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
