envelope do not open!!!

hello VJERS

i just wanna ask my friend rcvd her visa just now shes confused if she will open the envelope it say do not open where her passport is the envelope she wants to see her visa....

the passport should be in the bag with the envolope thats says do not open not in the the one that say dont open but in the say plastic bag what ever she does do not open evolope that says do not open they will turn you around at poe and you will have to go back to embassy to have it resealed pass port should be next to that envolope

you can open the plastic case to get your passport but NOT the manila (brown) envelope. :thumbs:

Ha ha....good to know I am not the only one worried about that. I opened the first plastic...then the passport was sealed in yet another plastic with the brown envelope open on one corner with paperwork exposed. But, I called USEM and talked with Sophia, she said it was okay to open both plastics, but do not disturb the manila envelope. :unsure:

I concur... :thumbs: You can get your passport inside the plastic bag but never screw with your brown (or yellow) envelope.

Im just curious about that stuff if only someone could show some pics of that famous DO NOT OPEN envelope just to have an idea of what it looks like would be much appreciated

I am so happy to receive my visa today...but the happiness turned to panic attack when i opened the 2nd plastic packing of the USE package to get my passport and saw the FAMOUS BROWN ENVELOPE STARING AT ME.....WITH A CUT ON THE CORNER..i texted chors (mel_keikilani) and 2 other girls if they received their visa packets with an envelope cut on the sides..good thing they have all the same response...oh well....i took my passport and closed the plastic cover . Panic attack faded...im happy again..:):):):)

08-08-08 - Filed AOS with EAD and AP
08-18-08 - NOA for EAD,AP and AOS
08-21-08 - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter
09-09-08 - Biometrics Appointment 10am Kansas City
09-18-08 - I-485 transferred to CSC (got an email from USCIS)
10-07-08 - EAD Touched
10-19-08 - My birthday / Found out I am Pregnant!
10-22-08 - Grief, Pain, Sadness
11-06-08 - EAD card ordered; AP approved (USCIS website)
01-16-09 - AOS Touched
02-23-09 - Green Card (conditional) and welcome letter received in the mail
02-24-09 - Got the job in boyce and bynum lab
