I'm presently in India and am close to working out some local employment in India. Been here for last 20 days. Would you happen to know if USCIS - New Delhi is particular about the 90 day stay rule? If you can please share your experiene, it would be kindly appreciated.

thanks

M

Hello Moghli,

From my experience I know the embassy is very strict and do thing per rule book... They did ask me of my stay in India, and how long I have been here for... I had stated that I have been here for 8 months now, and at same time working for India's finest corporates (sorry cannot say the name)......

The couple ahead of me did not provide any pictures, hence their application was not accepted...

Their was another guy who was waiting in line with same query as yours.. he had been in India for few days (less than a month) and wanted to file through DCF... Were not able to hear his answers, as we were too happy and excited to leave the office.....

But sure, its a rule, and they are following it..Let me know how it goes..

Hi ad345, sorry I can't help you on that, this forum is for people who submit the I-130 directly to a USCIS office in the country of their spouse, and in India, it is usually approved on the same day submitted. Check the processing timelines in the tabs above for more information about different service centers and their comparative timelines.

Welcome to VJ, and good luck on your journey!
