Guys,

Do you think we should do something to see if we can speed up the process? I am thinking to set a date and show up our senator's office together. I believe

this will be more effective than contacting them individually. I leave in Minnesota and I can arrange it for Minnesota. But if we can do it in some other cities that

will be more fruitful. Cities like LA or NYC will easily have more than 100 people who have been suffering for this mess. We will just do it in our own city.

When Microsoft needs a cheap software tester from oversees to save few dollars, they issue that visa in 72 hours. We are the citizen of this great nation. We

should not need to wait two years to get united with our family. It is a big human right violation.

I truly belive if we act together we can make a difference here.

Guys, throw any other ideas that you may have.

Yeah I know what you mean. I work at a company that hires alot of people from overseas, and when I talk to some of the foreign employees and hear about how fast they got a visa for them, and their ENTIRE family to come here, i want to slap somebody!! They tell me it takes all of 2 WEEKS!!!! Can you beileve this!? It takes only 2 weeks to issue a work visa and then all immediate family is fast tracked the same way! Yet I sit here, work for over half my life already in this country, pay my taxes, most times don't have health insurance and it takes me 90 days just to get a receipt notice

Something is seriously wrong here! AND.....i am so sick and tired of hearing about illegal immigration I can seriously shoot somebody!! Will somebody...anybody, in government...please start talking about LEGAL IMMIGRATION. There are obviously millions of people going thru the process on some sort of level and not ONE politician wants to talk about that story!!!

Sorry for the ranting highjack of your thread....I'm just having one of those days. I'm gonna go get some wine :dead:

Well, I know that I feel the same way........Heck just look at our I 130 timeline.

I am just so depressed over this whole process......I can't take much more. I have contacted senators through email. I have had one email me back the next day and said that someone would look into our case. I have been so hopeful and stuff but that is really been drained over the past several months.

Just my 2 cents........goin back to bed

Best thing would be to contact your Senators and local Congressman.
