I'm so sick of time differences

You know, it's never a right time, is it? Either of you are busy, work, sleep, etc....and it creates such a feeling of isolation that it's not even funny. My boo and I are not having a good two days...and it's like 'nope, can't talk now...gotta go to work' then it's not a good time for me when it's ok with him....yadda yadda yadda

I stayed home tonite with the thought that we'd finally be able to talk & stuff...but two hours on the fone have flown by & he's dropping from exhaustion. And we've only just stopped fighting a few minutes before, and just started to make some progress. So now it'll have to get tabled for another time...in the meantime, I have really worked myself into a state & I feel completely alone.

The 5 hour time difference just sucks completely.

Yep it does suck. We are on oppisite sides of the world with 19 hrs difference. My night is hubby's day

Thank you both, Karen and Aussie for your kind words...I'm not usually an emotionally 'sharing' type of person (especially with ppl I've never met!)...but I reckon if anyone could understand, it would be everyone here.

That kinda makes me feel a little better...being able to be understood!

It is very hard though. More so now that Dan has started work again. The past week I haven't talked to him near as much. I'm just grateful for the time we do have and the knowing that this will end soon.

16 hours here.. man, my sleeping pattern is messed up. I slept in til 2 this afternoon, on account of being on the phone so late. Good thing it was a Saturday

I'm 4 hours ahead of Dave.

We're still kinda lucky because we get to talk on msn(webcam) from 9pm to about 4 am(my time) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. And from 1am to about 4am(my time) on Thursday,Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It makes being apart not as hard....

And yeah.... call me a vampire! hehe

I hope you two have some time to get your argument settled like KarenCee said.... we all know how hard it can be having a long distance relationship. Good luck!!

Thank you all so much...yeah I hope we can get stuff sorted soon too. It's nothing major...in fact it started out pretty innocuously but somehow snowballed (we're both Taureans, heh...and I am certain now that the 'stubborn' trait is true, heh) into something bigger than what it should be.

I think I'm just tired of the distance, time differences, sleeping in an empty bed, not being able to just get on with the whole wedding thing without a sh!tload of red tape, blah, blah, blah

I'm just having a mini-meltdown, and the wine's not helping! hahaha

I understand completely. For Magnus and I our biggest fight is over trying to find the time to talk. And for awhile it seemed to be the only talking we did. I am a leo and like most other leos I do not do well without a lil attention.

I can understand how you feel Lisa.

Me and my BF (now my husband) had same problem since jakarta 12/13hours earlier than Texas. So he call me around 1 hour before my lunchtime and ended around 1PM Most of time I eat on my desk, he..he..yeah my company paid me 1 hour everyday for talked with him..(shame on me I know). . Long distance relationsthip was really stressfull for us. especially when the D day for move to US closer, many unnecessary argument, but we finally realize it's part of frustation for being apart.But those calling habit leave some problem to him now, he can't sleep until around 1-2 am because it was his schedule to called me before. Can't believe for more than a year he had to deal with sleep only for 5 hours, and we try to change it slowly now even it's not easy.
