Maybe you can look under American Citizen Services or something and see if anything strikes you. Like, you can say you need something notarized by an American notary or something. I really don't know what the consulate is like in Manila... sorry.

The other thing is... once inside, do you think they'll talk to you about your case?

Good luck!

That is where the letter from my senator comes in and she says once you in its no problem. Its the gaurds that are hard to deal with and the americans there will be very helpfull once im inside. My senator is emailing the consulate about our case too but nothing is forsure but she says she will try everything she can to make them talk with me if I have a problem. I found out that if the case gets sent back here for review it can take up to a year to get answer. So this is worth a try! The issue is not that big we just need a chance to bring proof.

Didn't you mention that she was required to go back to the embassy on Apr25th for a 2nd interview?

How did it go?

Regarding your question..Maybe you can tell them you have lost your passport and don't know what to do??

If you're confirmed that your case has been put on AR I don't think there's anything much you can do about it..they'll probably just tell you the same thing as they told you b4.

But anyway, good luck!

A good excuse to get inside the embassy would be: you're going to the American Citizens Services to get a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry. You will need to bring your passport to show proof of US citizenship to the guards and they will let you in.

By the way, the Legal Capacity would come in handy in case you decide to abandon K1, marry your fiancee, and then file IR. Just a thought.

thats the best way to get in.

telling them someone threatend you would more likely be a mistake  and they would send you to the local police.

The embassy can not deny entry for a U.S. citizen. Of course once you get inside it doesn't mean that anyone will talk to you. Good luck

Here's what happend to me when I went to the Embassy to talk to someone there about a K-1 Visa. First they asked if I had an appointment. I said no. Then I asked if I could make an appointment. They said yes if you have a valid reason. When I gave them the reason they refused to make the appointment.

yes I thought that would be correct.. How can they denied entry into the Embassy. Technicly it is US Property and thus US Soil :)

If the gaurds denied me entry, I would gather their names and if they are Marines, I would have them reassign.

I have right to enter any embassy of the United States in any part of the world :D

my husband and i were at manila embassy 3 weeks ago. Before he went back to california we decided to visit the embassy to make follow ups. The guards are not that strict..just say you will make follow up on the petition of your fiancee....then the guard will tell you where to go... i think u will go to window X to talk to the consul there. The guards are helpful the problem we had there was the consul we talked to. He is not that helpful.... i dont know if we are just unlucky and he is in a bad mood.....but at least we try........

its ok if the consul there didnt say anything about our case... my husband always check the status at NVC and my husband is lucky to talk to nice people there....giving us details about our case....
