I have a friend whom lives in Canada. She is involved with a guy from Turkey and would like to know are the procedures the same there as it is in the states for the k1 visa? If anyone has any helpful information for me to give to her please tell me!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

Why would the procedures be the same? Canada and the US are two different countries...and so are their immigration policies. She should do a little research as to what is required for Canadian immigration. As far as I know, Canada only allows spousal immigration, there's not provision such as the US has for fiancee's to emigrate.

Canada does not have a fiancee visa. If they are married, she can sponsor her husband. She can find out information at the Canadian Immigration Department http://www.cic.gc.ca
