On November 5, 2007 I sent for the K-1 visa and that is the day USCIS received teh letter. It has been 3 months ang gotten no response. I keep checking teh website and called them. They say it will take a few months, about 6. Has anyone received it before that time after the new fees? I am an american citizen and she is from Paraguay. I don't know if that matters.

You wont hear anything for 4 to 6 months. Basically your file is in a queue waiting to be processed.

I gather you've rcv'd your NOA1. But its not unusual to wait several months for NOA2. Now if you havent rcv'd your NOA1, its time to start making some noise.

AOS: Hard Copy Received NOA1 April 22nd all 3 arrived same day.

Biometrics : Received Appointment Letter Today April 27th = May 23rd 2008 10 am appointment

Transfered CSC June 4th

EAD: Approved June 13th 2008

EAD: Recieved Card June 18th 2008

AP: Approved June 13th 2008

AP: Received June 18th 2008

AOS:touched :Card ordered July 26th

Approval: AOS : Aug 4th

Green Card :Received : Aug 5th with Welcome Letter . 2 years Dated July 26th

hello,

looks like you got your NOA1 the day before us. We are still waiting for NOA2 also. I have seen lots of others from late November approved now, but it looks like those from the biginning of November got stuck at the bottom of the pile. Oh well, I figure we just have to wait a bit longer.

Nov 13/08 - Touch on AOS and EAD

Nov 17/08 - AP shows up in the mail

Nov 17/08 - EAD card production ordered

Jun 25/09 - Green Card Production ordered - Finally after 10 months!

June 30/09 - Received welcome letter!

July 10/09 - GREENCARD! - All done for a bit now!

May 20/11 - Sent in I-751 for removal of Conditions

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!

01 Dec 07 - NVC receives/assigns case #

04 Dec 07 - NVC sends case to U.S. Embassy Moscow

26 Dec 07 - Jason visits Sasha in Russia for the 4th and final time of 2007 :)

22 Feb 08 - Moscow Interview! (APPROVED!!!)..Yay!

24 Mar 08 - Sasha and Jason reunite in the U.S. :)

29 Dec 08- Alexander is born

11 Jan 10 - AOS / AP / EAD package sent
