still waiting for my Greencard :(

I am so anxious and I can’t wait to receive my GC. We’ve been approved on January 25th and until right now we haven’t received any (like welcome packet and GC). How come some people get their GC less than 2weeks? This gonna be our 3rd week waiting for my GC. Does anybody here already got their GC who got interviewed as well, in the same month of January especially those around January 15th to 31st? I keep tracking my case at USCIS but seems they haven’t updated the info since October when we submitted our RFE. My dilemma right now is, I already got my temporary driver license (which only got a piece of paper and will expire at the end of this month). I got it since December, I kept calling DMV asking where is my DL card? But they told me that the system still verifies my legal presence?! I concluded that maybe because by the time I applied I haven’t had my GC yet! But nobody from DMV told me that this will take long getting my CA I.D and DL bcuz of my GC?! I gave all the docs they needed e.g passport with visa, I94 and my EAD.. hmmm, maybe I am just too in a hurry to get everything in shape isn’t it?!

I checked with the local office and was told that our file is still sitting on her desk meaning that she hasn't made a decision on it yet.

Thank you Maria We just worry if USCIS lost our file or document. As long as Anna can stay here happily and work, it's okay if we wait a bit. Hope your new life in U.S. is treating you well

Yes, I-94 was taken away at the time of the interview. Here goes another week and nothing.

IF I WERE YOU I WOULD CALL BECAUSE I'VE WAITED FOR MY GREENCARD FOR 3 MONTHS IN THE MAIL AFTER APPROVAL WHEN IT NEVER CAME I CALLED THEY SAID THEY MAILED IT 3 MONTHS AGO SHE SAID IT GOT LOST IN YHE MAIL SO I FILLED I-90 FORM IN JANUARY I HAVENT GOT ANYTHING FROM THEM YET.

Yeah, the IO told said "ok, im gonna approved you this afternoon and u will received ur greencard in 2 to 3weeks" she never told me about FBI checks or whatsoever.. And USCIS website is not even updated either... then i called the customer service and gave me all BS answers, i dont know what kind of job they have right there if they are only depending to our online status as well.. and customer service even told me that i should received an approval letter from the officer if i am really approved, so since i dont have the approval letter and have not received my GC then my case is still pending... i was like???!!! ####### are u talking about?! and i asked her if she could verify my address just to checked if they got my address correctly, but she told me, she doesnt have my personal infos. and i asked her for the last time if she have a Los Angeles CIS number maybe i could reach the officer who interviewed me.. and of course she doesnt have it either!!!! this is really irritating.. We dont even know how to track it if the GC has been already sent out or not..

OMG!! That's really way too long to wait... Me and my husband even think it might be lost in the mail too.. or maybe the IO forgot to approved our GC and our papers are still there on her table.. Yeah i called customer service but they dont know it either.. do u know who to contact or call about our GC????
