Hello,

I hope someone can help shed some light on this process. Here are my 2 questions, for now...

1) I sent my I-130 to the Chicago lock box on Jan. 11, but haven't received the NOA1 yet, nor have they cashed my check. Should I be concerned? The VJ Guide says it takes 2-3 weeks, but it has been over 4 weeks...

2) I'm prepping my I-129F packet so it can go in the mail as soon as I receive the NOA1. I noticed that many of the documents are identical to the ones I submitted with the I-130, which makes things easy. BUT, is it okay to submit a clear PHOTOCOPY of my wife's G-325A (Biographical Info), or do I need another original with her signature written in ink? I ask because she is in Costa Rica, and it will take some time to get an original from her...

Thank you!

Rob

Don't worry about getting your NOA1 for I-130 because there has been a delay in processing applications at Chicago lockbox. They are now updated to 1/27 so I think you'll get your NOA pretty soon.

And yes, you need original signature on G-325. So you'll have to act fast on that matter.Good luck!!
