i came here on k3 visa .i want to know if i can get driving lincece and SS# before apply AOS

and want to know if someone know how long take AOS process till get green card

Depends on what state you live in, and what type of identification that state requires before you are eligible for a driving license. Please check with your state's Department of Motor Vehicles.

I'm on K3, I walked in with my canadian license and passport with I-94 and got my state license. rules may be different for non-north american license holders. i needed a written test. you may need a road test as well.

I know for sure I could not get SSN without AOS.

Still waiting for my AOS so don't know how long it takes.

My husband is here on a K-3. He was able to drive with his Jamaican driver's license in Georgia (30 days). Georgia requires that all applicants have a SS card. They don't ask to see it, but the number is verified. As a result, my hubby waited for his work permit to arrive. After about two weeks, he was able to apply for a social. In which state do you live?
