Yes, but what are the odds of just happening upon the love of your ife three times from the Phillipines or some other far-flung country...

Precisely!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think it should be allowed, ESPECIALLY from the same country more than once.

Guaranteed poo will be flying with comments like that.....by the time I get back here later

jenn,

Your example was, "i.e. first marriage didn't work out, file again for new foreign S/O." A 2nd time is "continually"?

Moving on to your new situation of continually rather than 2nd time, what kind of coincidence (or problem, or other issue) is it if someone continually falls in and out of love with a fellow countryman?

As to you concern about fraud, it could also be a bright red flag for foolishness.

Yodrak

jenn,

In and of itself - yes it's OK.

Start adding in some 'why' factors and the answer might change.

Yodrak

Yes, Yodrak. That's what I was getting at. I don't see it as just coincidence that a person would continually fall in and out of love with foreigners. To me it seems like it would be a bright red flag for fraud.

Conceded. I think you understood my jist though. Two or more times.....

Falling in love with a fellow countryman does not involve immigration or the potential for immigration fraud.

That's fine. I have no problem with someone defending why multiple petitions should be allowed.
