HEATHER MILLS McCARTNEY IS PREGNANT

May 28 2003

Delighted Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney is to become a father again, it was announced today.

The star's wife Heather is pregnant with the couple's first baby expected later this year.

The couple released a statement saying: "We are delighted with this happy news."

Sir Paul married former model Heather Mills, who lost a leg in a motorbike crash, at an Irish castle in June 2002.

The former Beatle, 60, already has three adult children Stella, Mary and James, and a stepdaughter, Heather, from his marriage to his first wife Linda McCartney, who died in 1998 from breast cancer.

It will be 34-year-old Heather's first child. The pregnancy comes as no surprise as the couple have been trying for a child since they got married.

Just three months ago Heather told Michael Parkinson on TV that it was difficult for her to get pregnant.

She said: "They said I'd been pregnant, which is really hurtful, knowing that I've had cancer of the uterus and two ectopic pregnancies.

"The chances of me getting pregnant are about that much (holding up her thumb and finger an inch apart) and I'm sure for any woman out there it's hard enough when your family keeps saying 'When are you going to have a baby, then?', never mind the whole world keeps saying 'Oh, she's pregnant this week'."

yes, but my original point was he didn't need to have another kid. If you are trying then - SHOCKER - yes, you might get preggers!

Paul McCartney has more money then entire countries will ever need. I don't quite understand why he didn't get a prenup. Kind of feel like she really put one over on him.

I feel sorry for him in a way. No matter how famous or rich he is, in the end, he's just an old fool.

I don't understand why he didn't either but then again, he was in a marriage that really was a "to death till us part" so he may have simply believed that that is what would happen this time. Although, he is so rich and probably has SO many advisers that it is surprising but he may simply have refused.

Something ain't right with her though....I don't know if it is gold digging, actually being slightly insane, had good intentions but fame has gone to her head/she couldn't handle it. Either way, something strange is happening.

Naturalization

I do feel sorry for him though - he went from having his soulmate and the love of his life to a scheming and insane golddigger. If only he'd just listened listened to Stella.....
