Form signed, scanned, email

Hi all,

I ma new to the site and trying to get some information, I have filed out the G-325a and the letter intent for my fiancee and send it to her via email so she can print and sign it. She is in Moscow is it ok if she sign the documents, scan them and email them back to me and I print them, or she has to sign and mail the original to me.

We did the same thing. My hubby e-mailed me the signed documents and I printed them and put them in our application. He kept the originals to take with him during his interview. We had no problems.

While others actual experience may differ... the instructions do indicate original....

You should send the origional signed document, not a printed copy of the signature.

There are even people here who have gotten an RFE for not sending the origional signed documents, when in fact they sent the origionals signed in black ink. The officer could not tell what was signed and what was printed. They do ask you to sign in black ink, but if I could do it again, I'd sign in blue just to ensure no RFE.

Of course, there are no doubt people who sent copies without a problem.
