Hello Everyone,

Has anyone had experience with shipping items from Ukraine to the US? My fiance' lives in Lviv and we are trying to find companies in Ukraine that would ship to the US. Also does anyone have an idea about how the costs run for this? Thanks much.

I lived in NYC and it was simple there but you can try "MIST" 1(718)449-1971 this is the number in Brooklyn I usually used their service to send anything to Ukraine or get it from Ukraine try to call them to find out if they have an office in Illinois or there are any options for you they didn't charge too much but they wanted your presence at the office to make a deposit pament for the package you need to be delivered from other country

Also you can check with UPS and DHL they have offices in Ukraine as well but it wil be more expensive and they don't pick the stuff up from the house as "MIST" does

so try to call the number I gave you

good luck

:)

One other thing, you might want to edit your processing center from Nebraska to California, since that is where you are being processed. This way your timeline for your NOA2 acceptance can be projected by VJ.

We used Meest (US side) and Rosan (Ukraine side). Prices were pretty reasonable...cheaper than extra luggage, anyway. We dropped off about 10 boxes of stuff at the local Rosan office in Lviv. They shipped to the Meest office in

New Jersey which then shipped it from New Jersey to Atlanta via UPS.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!
