Capt Ewok,

I am about 5' 7" in barefeet and would like to be taller. I have clicked on 'My controls' but I can't find anything there to help me. Under 'Change Personal Photo', it says I can be no bigger than 150 pixels. What is that in imperial measurements? I was hoping for about 6'. Also, it doesn't seem to make me any better-looking either.

Your help is appreciated. Thank you.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Am I doing something wrong? I went back into 'My controls' and clicked on "Manage your attachments". Unfortunately it didn't produce the result I was hoping for...

150 pixels tall? Here is how you calculate.

Assume you are using a Canon SD850IS camera (which has a pixel size of 1.75um). Assume your camera is set to 5.8mm (Canon SD850IS set to widest field of view... zoomed all the way out) when the picture is taken. Assume you are 6ft (1.82 meters).

The Field of View should then be:

The Field of view for 150 pixels is then 150 * 1.75um/5.8mm = 0.0453 radians (2.6 deg)

so you would want to stand:

1.82/2 / sin(0.0453/2) = ~42.39 meters from the camera and you would be exactly 150 pixels tall in the final image. Crop your picture out from the larger picture and upload.

(I think I goofed my math but will check laterz)

;)

Where are my controls for deleting members and banning their IPs?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
