Sorry that your I-751 case is taking so long. I do hope that after all that waiting, you do get your 10yr green card soon. Thanks for telling me about your situation and good luck on your I-751 case.

Answering your question, the reason why I thought nobody posted was because from what I saw, there wern't too many approval dates on the list. Now I realize that it's more so because it is taking such a long to get approved, and people on the list are still waiting for their approval dates. I never realized before that there was such a delay in approvals. Oh my! I can't believe there is such a backlog at the VSC. Hopefully for everyone's sake, they approve more I-751 cases more quickly.

I notice that not very many people on the list post when they have their case approved/when they get their 10yr green card.

Why do you think so?

Does anyone know nowadays how long it takes between getting the biometrics done and finally getting approved for the 10yr card?

I've been waiting for more than 9 months after my biometrics were done.

How long too nowadays, is the entire process of the I-751 from beginning to end (sending it in, NOA, biometrics, approval) for applicants with their cases to Vermont?

I have been waiting for almost 11 months.

I still can not believe that it's been taking so long. Last year VSC was approving I-751s in 5-6 months, so when I filed my petition I expected to get approval in March. It is upsetting that VSC is so incredibly slow this year.

Congratulations Arijit! Yay! They are in October! (Sure hope they catch up the pre-October filers soon though - I know I hate it when everyone else passes you and you are left behind still waiting, so I hope your waits are short).
