Well, the drive's not bad, if it's sunny weather! Zip along the toll highway, stereo blasting, not so bad! I just don't want to do it again in 6 months for another bloody stamp! :P

And I forgot to add that I think the slow down at VSC is due to the fact that they and CSC are the only service centers processing I-751s now. So throw that into the mix and I think you have a good reason for the slow down. We were fortunate in that ours came perhaps before the wave of I-751s were forwarded from the various service centers. And I think that that what we see here as applicants is but a tiny fraction of the cases that VSC is doing.

but I though that citizenships are process locally (local offices) not Center.... for example if you go to the local office of Miami FL in the USCIS website tells you that they are on charge of a few applications including Citizenships/....

well I hope we all get approved soon, this waiting is too much for me......

I am going to Rainy Lake border waters between Ft. Francis and International Falls. Great fishing, been going there for nearly 20 years now. And the weather, scenery, etc. incomparable. Will probably go to Canada to get a Canadian fishing license and remote entry border permit. Canadians only allow one fish a day, so will probably catch and release a bunch. Fishing to my way of thinking is better on the Canadian side, perhaps the low limit has something to do with it, and it is a 20 minute boat trip to get where I want to fish, so a bit off the beaten path.

N-400s are mailed to a USCIS service center to begin with... I am unfamiliar with what they do versus what the DO does... but the service center clearly does have some involvement in the process...
