I have finally made an infopass appointment for the 2nd of April. What pisses me off is the fact that i called the 1-800 number and spoke to two different officers. I was told that they mailed me a letter on the 10th of March. He read the contents of the letter to me whcih basically states that they are still reviewing the case and that i should give them 45 days.

What pisses me off is the fact that my case still was last undated on 03/04/2008. If they sent me a letter on march 19th, 2009, should it not reflect as a touched?

These guys are simply slow. I believe they simply tell you something at the spare of the moment.

Just venting.

The wait continues.

hi everyone does anyone have any idea when my luck..): i mean my file will move any..
as far as i know my case has not been transfered from TSC to any other place since it filed

I applied 05/17/07 and since then i am waiting.

i called 800 jan 09 and the person told me my file is sitting in houston office and thats all she can see

last time my file got touched was 7/17/2008

this is for everyone: the USCIS people at the 1-800 number doesn't know anything other then the online CRIS system, so, if your case is over 12 month, then you should all be on top of thing and go for an INFOPASS. only at INFOPASS you can get the real status of your case. I would also confirm the address on file when you go to INFOPASS.

People, if USCIS send you a letter requesting for more evidence and for some reason you didn't get it or respond to it with in 60 days you can get a denied on your case. that's means 60 days to leave the USA, and if you didn't know because you never got that mail you can find your self with a deportation case which complicates everything 10 time more. and if you crossed the border without knowing you might never come back!!!

So after requesting some info on my case,this is the e-mail we got today

"Type of service requested:

-- Outside Normal Processing Times

The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."

Seems like a standard letter that they send to everyone,doesn't it?..what do you guys think?..did everyone who requested info get this same exact response???...please let me know...good luck to all of us!!!

Finally got approved today. Thanks a lot guys for support. I was addicted to this form. good luck to all of you. My time line is as follows

7/16/2008: Sent I-751 to Vermont Service Center

7/22/2008: NOA1 received

8/26/2008: Biometrics completed in Hartford

2/25/2009: Transfer to CSC

3/20/2009: approval letter--finally
