I received an e-mail from CRIS today, too - saying my case is pending now at the office to which it has been transferred. Finally my case is touched ...

We have pretty similar timelines; I'm only about a week behind you. Hopefully we get approved soon.

So if my understanding is correct..... Our touched cases have not been transferred, but currently worked on in the VSC.

Guys, I believe our cases would be completed soon..... Friday, I went on my previously schedule Infopass appt to get an extension of my GC (never received NOA1 or scheduled info pass in first place......until this Friday).... So after spending 20min in waiting, i was able to meet up with an officer, provide my paperwork (my expired GC was taken away) and wait for 1 hour until I finally got the stamp in my passport. I received a one year extension effective Friday on my status (needed either the actual GC or extension to apply for my school FAFSA).

The officer advised that last touch on my file was Jan 13th (THIS DATE DID NOT APPEAR AS A TOUCH ON THE ONLINE STATUS). I was advised on Jan 13th, the results of my fingerprinting have been received. Per officer, since then no activity had taken place.

The touch today suggest processing has been resumed. I AM 110% sure by Friday the upcoming week our cases will be completed!! (or at least I hope... )

Our email was different from the one above - this is the same email we got back in June when we got xferred to what I assume is VSC (we started at TSC in March last year)

So you can see it doesnt tell me where we are, but the touch when I log into the USCIS tracking is dated today, and it was this morning that I received this email.

I got touched today and i have the same status as tamarae I hoped that means we will have our green card this week!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got touched today too but no e-mail and the message there just says our file is being processed.

I know a lot of people don't realize the government works weekends, but they do if they are behind and trying to get caught up. I sure hope this means all of us will be approved this week.
