Hi VJ community,

i am here to bring some news that actually are very good...we got our NO1 yesterday in the mail from CA service...and guess what we were not expecting it to be this fast...we send off our petition Feb 2nd....when we used the case number to check case online they said they received our stuff on the 4th...yesterday they sent us the NO1...we are excited to find out what next days would come up with really...our current status now is CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING.we know thats normal,i have a couple questions please and i hope someone that have been thru this would provide us with some answers.

does NO1 mean our case was approved? if not what does it mean exactly plz.

what should we wait on now after receiving the NO1??

should we consider ourselves lucky we got the NO1 by this time or thats normal knowing we are dealing with CA.

thanks all for all the help and support you offer each other...and a message to Abdo please listen to those people here they are very helpful and knowlegable.

NOA1 it means that the service center will sent to you once they received your application, usually it takes about 6 to 8 months for the whole process, sometimes it takes longer or shorter than 6 months..it depends.

Your case as it says when you checked it CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING.

wait for few more months for the adjudication of your case.

Best of Luck!

Hi Estadia,

NOA1 only means that your file has been received and it is the right timeline. NOA2 will be the approval notification and it takes 4 to 6 months. All the best in your journey.
