Change of Address

Hello,

I completed an online change of address form for my I-485 which is pending at CSC. How can I check if it has been changed already? and how long does it take for my file to be updated?

I did it online. the next couple of days i recieved a notice that looked generated stating the changes that i made.

did your spouse also send in the I-865 address change notice? That needs to be done as well, and with that you get a receipt notice.

I called USCIS and they told me as long as I got a confirmation number for both my change of address with DHS and change of mailing address on my pending application, then I should receive a receipt notice for this action in 45 days. I hope to get this soon in the mail, and that I should have no problem receiving notices from them.

When we changed our address we got a letter in the mail a few weeks later for our 130 but nothing else. We called and they said they wouldnt tell us until after 45 days. Luckily at our interview yesterday she confirmed that our change of address had gone thru. I'd say just call them after a few days and confirm, and if they say they cant tell you, hang up and call again. That's probably what we should've done.

i haven't gotten one yet.. but I have gotten 797c since the change.. and my wife got hers for the 865.

I filed a change of address online and never received a confirmation via mail. I saved the online printout. I might have to call.......
