Hmmm. 2 weeks ago my case worker with me Senator said "my contact with NVC's congressional unit say we have the case", still when i call NVC they cannot find my case. But 2 weeks may be a bit much to ask.

All i know is that 2/14 i fly to visit Dora for 1 week. I booked the flight long before the NOA2 but was scared i would see her cry in the airport upon my departure again. That fear has been greatly diminished since the NOA2. So now, when i depart it will be more of a "see you soon", than "goodbye????".

My children have all made Valentine's cards for Dora and I am so touched because they did it on their own. Dora already calls them "my babies". We are so excited to see eachother again and just do NOTHING for 1 week.

I love you all,

jamie

It seems that we have similar timelines for our cases. I contacted my Senators "constituent services" part of the website and they got things rolling after i passed the 7 month mark of our 130. PUSH PUSH PUSH.

]Hello Jamie, I know how it feels to have to leave your loved one and fly back home without her. I did the same thing in December. I am curious about how you went about contacting your Senetor. It has been over 5 months since I first submitted my I-130 and it has now been over a month since I received my NOA1. When I talked to the people at USCIS they continue to tell me that my information has not been entered into the system. My wife is now starting to feel like we will never be together because of the long delay. I could sure use some advice. Thanks for anything you can tell me. This site and all the people here have been a God send for me during this long and stressful time.

Congrats on the approval Jamie and have a wonderful visit.

CSC is so inconsistant with forwarding petitions to the NVC. I have read where many people say CSC waits until there is enough petitions to fill the delivery truck or container before forwarding the approved petitions. My hypothesis is if they are as busy approving petitions as they claim it would not take long to fill a truck.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony
