Thank you. Actually, recipt dates matter rather than the NOA1 date. So don't worry. It is temporary thing. I have seen this during citizenship process. USCIS follows reciept dates.

well like i said in the pm.... it must of been you skipping around the chicago lockbox...

that must be the reason! so just a question....i was doing my daily information search online concerning the k-3 process and i found out that the chicago lock box doesn't actually cash checks. they just send out receipts and pass your file onto which service center is going to process it. however if this is the case some of us could be waiting weeks to get our NOA1 from chicago. has anyone else read anything about this or is it just me?

by the by venkat....did you just get your NOA1 for your I-130 or for both applications?

08/28/2008. Touched. (This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred)

Rajat,

most all of the people who are filing K3 this month, all filed their I-130 & I-129 off together at the same time. seems like this is something there accepting now, even though the website still does NOT say that your supposed to do this. but it seems to be that its possible to do this now, and that when you send them off together, that there is your recipt for your I-130 cause its in conjunction with the I-130 you sent in :) hope that helps anwser your question!
