Guys, my check finally got deposited today. No ESC or File number written on the check though. Hopefully, NOA1 is on its way.

I-130 Received by USCIS: 2/7/2008

Check cashed: 3/18/2008

NOA1: hopefully soon

No case number on the back unfortunately. Just bunch of computer printed stuff - probably related to cashing the check. I couldn't located anything that starts with THREE letters (ESC for vermont).

I will keep my fingers crossed and hope NOA1 arrives in the mail this week.

hmmm thats odd...actually its EAC for vermont, and WAC for california. and the computer printed stuff includes your number :P

Oops, it is supposed to be EAC for vermont. But I don't see it on either front or back of the check.

Btw, did anyone else have stamp (USCIS) in pay to section of the check even though it was filled in correctly?

Yeah don't worry about that I made my check out to USCIS and they stamped above it. It's not a big deal! I understand what you mean about the printed numbers on the back. I had 5 different sets of numbers printed on mine. They printed the case number in the top left hand corner of my check (back) and the rest were from Bank of America cashing my check. I have heard that in some cases they don't put a case number on the check and you just have to wait a little longer. Don't worry if they cashed your check your NOA1 is on its way. Congratulations! :thumbs:

Wat's up with the USCIS website. The processing dates haven't been updated yet. It still shows February 15 as its posted date. They need to put the updated processing dates for the month of March. This processing dates are good indication of how fast the files are moving. Hopefully they update the dates so, I can stop checking thier website every hour for the update.

i know, i've been waiting for them to update the site as well...knowing them though it'll prolly be a couple more days til they actually update it. i think it took them a week to put up the update last month.

Yeah, I was going crazy as almost everyone got their NOA1 within 2 weeks and I still hadn't gotten mine for over a month. I am just glad that I finally got one and they didn't loose my application. Btw, they recently cashed my check only 2 days ago as well.

Did you send your application to Lockbox that serves Vermont Center or California Center? I guess that could be the difference in quick NOA1, but who knows.

I just hope they approve my NOA2 quicker to make up for it :)

Okay.

So today my "last updated" changed from 03-10 to 03-20 but only under application I-130. I am assuming that is the infamous "touch".

Current status has not changed and no new notes.

So the million dollar question.

Why change the "last updated" date?

At least I'm gettin a touch right??

Guess I shouldn't complain.

02-27-2008 - NOA-1

09-25-2008 - Approval Notice Sent!! (received email)

10-02-2008 - Received hard copy NOA 2 via mail[/size]

I-129F

03-03-2008 - Mailed I-129F via USPS next day service

03-04-2008 - I-129F delivered to VSC signed by P Novak at 1:50 pm

03-05-2008 - NOA-1 received in mail on 03-10-2008

09-25-2008 - Approval Notice Sent!! (received email)

10-02-2008 - Received hard copy NOA 2 via mail

NVC

10-06-2008 - Case received assigned case #

10-06-2008 - Case sent to embassy

10-06-2008 - Emailed DS 2032

EMBASSY

Embassy called my wife and set appointment for 10-10-2008 to pick up paperwork.

Appointment set for October 21, 2008 at 12pm

10-20-2008 Interview at 12pm. APPROVED!!PICK UP VISA 10-21-2008 at 3 pm

I-485 AOS

07-21-2009 - Mailed via overnigt. They received 7-22-2009 and rejected the same day.

07-29-2009 - Received rejected I-485 in the mail. (Incorrect fee's)

07-30-2009 - Mailed corrected packet overnight, they received next day 7-31-09

08-03-2009 - Received NOA for I-485 and I-765.

08-10-2009 - Received Biometrics appointment letter. Appt is on 09-02-2009 (DONE) Easy

09-15-2009 - I-765 Approved, Card production ordered

10-20-2009 - I-485 Appt Set

10-20-2009 - APPROVED!! Fast and easy 10-15 min interview.

10-21-2009 - CRIS email. Card production ordered.
