Oh thank you! but how do you know if you are touched or not? I always prefer if they do NOT touch me! hehe

if you are registered on the website you can check out your case status online. and it will give you a date that says "last updated" anytime that changes, you've been touched :P

Mine hasnt been touched since they put it in the system :crying: It still says the 26th of feb. does anyone know the processing dates everytime i check it still says july 26th 2007.

whether they touch your aplication or not it really makes no difference. some peoples never get touched! those are still the processing dates, they have yet to update it. im hoping march 15th that'll bump up quite a bit :P

Well for some reasone I cant see my case status today, its never done that before. Has anyone had this happen before? I hope I can check it later today. I usually check it every day.

i wouldn't worry too much about it, they were probably just updating the site. that's what happens whenever people update things...just be glad you can get back into your case. hopefully our molesting is them grouping them together and maybe we'll be getting noa1 for our k-3 visas soon. i've heard all this stuff about them cancelling the k-3 visa and how it's probably going to slow things down. but it's basically what i have to hang on to for mine, cody's and our soon to be born daughters sake.

that's why im hoping its the noa1 for our k-3 visas cause we both submitted our i-130 and i-129f applications together and have both had our checks cashed. its either ref's or joining the applications....so basically good or bad news. have you received an noa1 on your i-129f application?

Ok I have a couple of questions, first im thinking of sending in the i-129f for the k3 and i need to know for the g325 do i need a new set from my so or can i use a copy of the first set that i used for the i-130? Second question, does any one know the difference in time that casa takes to schedule the interview for the k3 and cr1, some places it takes longer for the cr1 interview and when i look it just shows 4 months but doesnt distinguish between cr1 and k3?:unsure:

I believe all G325's all have to be originals. I have heard that the CR1 is quicker and they are doing away with I-130. I struggled with what to file and finally just gave in to the K3. Plus my wife has a daughter 6 yrs old. I wouold rather do her I-130 after they are here and adjust at that time. Just my preference. All in all I think it's a close race in my opinion.

NOA-1 for I-129F got it in the mail today. Finally!! I was wondering what was up with it. It has a receipt date of March 5, day after they signed and received it. Either way they have it and I have my NOA.

Now I think it's really time to wait.

Also..........................................

Can a US State Rep help with pushing these docs through any faster?

I sent my I-130 application on 2/4/08, received by Chicago Lockbox on 2/7/08. I am under VSC.

Checks not cashed yet, No sign of NOA1.

It seems that other people are getting their receipts relatively quickly. Am I the only one left out?

Don't worry I was just like you and really stressing over it, ask Danyel! lol It's been over a month since you submitted your application you can by rights call them and find out whats going on. They will probably tell you the same thing they told me and that was to wait until 90 days was up, however my check was cashed that night. I sent my application to Chicago and it was received Feb. 5 and apparently California sent out my NOA1 on March 4. So don't worry too much they are taking their own sweet time!

yeah the g325's all have to be originals from both parties. as for the processing time it really depends on how luck you get. some people say the k-3 visa is slowing down the process and people aren't actually getting them but in the last 24 hours i have talked to several people who have actually gotten theirs. plus one of our own february filers got their NOA1 recently for their k-3 visa. so it basically is up to you! as for the processing to get an interview i have heard that it's quicker to get one for the k-3 than it is for the cr-1 but you'll have to check with your own embassy (or people who used it) on that one. good luck and enjoy the week!

CONGRATULATIONS!! I think you're the first of the February filers to get their NOA1 for a I-129f application. I'd say you're doing pretty good!

that's the attitude i have about the k-3 visa, if they cancel it and send you a letter its not going to make the world of difference. however if they do approve it you'll be together sooner. and granted some people would rather go to the cr-1 way cause it's cheaper in the long run, but honestly i would rather pay the extra $1000 later on and be with my husband sooner. but its a personal choice every couple has to make cause the money might be an issue for some. good luck making the decision!
